Overlooked - Collection
The prompt for this one was "collections". I only have a small collection of buddhas whereas I have a huge collection of books and enormous yarn stash. The buddhas are a deliberate collection though, the other two just happen.... The buddhas are my favourite as well, I like the idea that rubbing his tummy brings luck - it always makes people smile when the do it anyway!
Knitting for a change
Finished scarf for nephew and started another. The new one is from the new Lets Knit magazine and uses Rowan Tapestry. I was really pleased to see the pattern because I've been wanting to try this yarn for a while but didn't want to do a jumper or anything big as it felts and I just know what would happen!

PJ Day
That's a day that I determine to stay in pj's all day and do just what I want which is the following
Sacred Life Sunday from last week
Overlooked - get my page done
D is for ? from my a to z of knitting
Button dollz for dotty's swap
ATC cards for the new funfunfunatc group swap on yahoo.
Some very clever girls have started a new group to replace the ATCards site that is now closing. Hope it's going to be what it says and fun no backbiting etc. It's now 11.15, jobs are done, dishwasher on, washing machine on, and I'm off to play!

B is for Beads
I used to think that beaded knitting was a real pain until I did some at The Knit Tin (before they closed obviously) and really loved it. When I saw this jacket I thought it would be great to do as it was beaded all over. Unfortunately, you have to sew them all on afterwards and that does seem a real pain!

A to Z
I've also made a start on my A to Z today. Well, have done the covers and started on A and B. A is for the ART of knitting, B is for Bamboo needles.
There's a link to the right.
I'm also thinking about my Sacred Life Sunday and think I'm going to use a lovely diary that I bought but don't want to use as it's so nice. It's a Buddhist one and has lovely pictures in it already so it will be my Sacred Sunday project and also my first altered book.
Overlooked

I'm way behind with this but have managed to get part one done today. Really enjoyed doing it and loved looking at all the photos on flickr. This is the link to subject one and this is the link to subject two. The link to the UKS is here.
The mug is one that I use just for green and white tea. I got it from the shop in the picture which is Lincoln, on Steep Hill. Really beautiful place, peaceful and welcoming.
Sacred Life Sunday
My sister introduced me to this and it's a really lovely blog, as are the other blogs that are linked to it. Just click the button on the right to have a look. I can't believe we're in February already. I don't seem to have done any of the things I wanted to get started in January so I really hope to get myself a bit more organised.
Journal Your Christmas - Ta Da! Finished
Finally got round to finishing the front cover, doing all the photos and getting them on my blog. Haven't had a lot of time this last few weeks as I've been knitting as well. Need to get those photos on as well ;D
Journal Your Christmas - The End
I'm so pleased that I've done this project even though it's taken me so long to blog it. I really enjoyed it and will almost certainly do it again next year.
Journal Your Christmas Dec 31
I don't really do New Year so no parties for me. Jeanne and I stayed in, did our knitting, ate our chocolate and shared a bottle of Cava. Went to bed before midnight and it was wonderful! Best way to start the New Year, asleep!
Journal Your Christmas - The Year in Review
Entry for the 30th December, these are all photos that remind me of this year. My great niece and nephew, my wonderful family and friends, and lots of other things such as the little bit of snow we saw, my fab crocs, that I live and die in, putting the house on the market and Shimelle's class at Moxeley
Journal Your Christmas Inside Front Page
This was done for the 29th and is the inside of my front cover. Made with the Christmas inchies from a swap on UKS.
